Intergenerational Skill Swapping

Sewing skills are dying out with the older generation. In a bid to restore sewing skills our project will see older and younger people come together, through intergenerational skill swapping. Paired together to exchange skills this will encourage stronger societal respect and support networks.

We believe in creating an inclusive society that supports oner another. By sharing talents with others, we can restore sense of belonging and purpose.

Community Partnerships

Community connectivity is an essential part of our mission and we have seen the importance of communities coming together since the pandemic. We deliver project led programmes designed with your community group in mind. We introduce a vast array of sewing techniques through leisure sewing classes, dressmaking, embroidery & one-off workshops encouraging everyone to come together for social interaction, to deliver support for groups in one place, access services and to engage in positive community activity.

Secondary Schools & FE Partnerships

Delivered in local secondary schools and further education colleges, our workshops have a strong focus on embedding the creative industries into current curriculum teachings. Lessons are planned to introduce students to potential career pathways and inspire creative thinking that will positively impact their current studies.

We highly recommend teachers, colleges and lecturers to get in touch to find out more.
